Hate to admit it but Reyes--even if he is a DEM--has it right. You do not need someone to babbysit, or to worry about them selling you out.

"Unlike others, the prime minister will await the outcome of the investigation before commenting any further," his office said.

The more I here from or about Allawi the more I think he is stellar human being.

A Marine who killed an unarmed wounded Iraqi in a Fallujah mosque "will be dealt with," the U.S. ambassador in Iraq said yesterday, as the military said it was looking into other deaths at the scene of the shooting.

I'm beginning to think that my initial suspicious were right, and that they intend on prosecuting this guy. They may be looking for a 'pattern of abuse', if they're looking into the other deaths.

Which doesn't bode well. If they want to find legal grounds to start stringing people up, they've got it.

"'No one can be happy' about the incident, Ambassador John Negroponte said, 'but the important point is that the individual in question will be dealt with.'"

Hmmm! In today's politicl climate, Ambassador Negroponte should be concerned that he might be the individual in question.

Hagee said "embedded reporters have actually worked very well. They inform the American public about what these great young Americans are doing over there."
---

I don't see any problem with it either, or with the NBC reporter. He shows what he films and reports what he sees. Thats his job.

It sounds to me like they're going to delay this until the heat dies down when they can give him a slap on the wrist without causing an uproar as this video has been playing Al-Jazeera 24/7. I think that's a bad move. They should clear him ASAP and show Al-Queda that our Soldiers are going to freely defend themselves against their tactics.

"Will be dealt with"? WTF does THAT mean????? In a war, it's kill or be killed. Enough of this PC crap already! Al Geeze Louisa needs to be bombed beyond recognition..... then NBC..... I cannot BELIEVE this!

Can anybody put up a GOOD link, whereby we can put in a word of support for this guy? Skikvt's link is a bad place to go, unless you want unknowns looking into your computer.

if this Marine goes down - so does Bush. Bush's legacy rides totally on the events in iraq - if it implodes, and if they rake this marine over the coals as part of it, support for Bush in this iraq effort from the base, is going to collapse.

A Marine who killed an unarmed wounded Iraqi

Every article about this says that.

At this time that is total BS.

That traitor Sites started that without even knowing if the terrorist was alive or wounded.

ANYBODY that chose to stay in that city what with the warnings given ahead of time, are seen as the enemy.

And they do NOT legally have the Geneva Convention behind them. If they are there, and not part of an organized fighting force, they are there to be killed. Period. Their choice, they made it.

I think one of the first things to do is to identify the "insurgent". Hopefully, he'll turn out to be someone that most Iraqis know of, someone who was particularly evil.

IF THIS ADMINISTRATION DOES A DAMN THING TO THIS BRAVE YOUNG MARINE, THERE WILL BE A ROAR OF ANGER FROM THE HEARTLAND SUCH AS THIS NATION HAS NEVER SEEN. AND MR BUSH CAN KISS HIS "POLITICAL CAPITAL" GOODBYE.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, MR RUMSFELD...TELL THEM TO DROP IT RIGHT NOW. STOP THIS "INVESTIGATION" ON BEHALF OF OUR ENEMIES...NOW!

CLEAR THIS YOUNG MAN'S NAME AND DEMAND A U.N. INVESTIGATION OF REALWAR CRIMES---THE FRENCH MURDER OF CIVILIANS IN THE IVORY COAST.
