Iraqi National Guard soldier working a checkpoint with US troops.
A solomn reminder we are not the only ones paying the ultimate price in this war.
Standing Guard over a terrorist prisoner.
Standing watch scanning for terrorist activity in Fallujah.
Marine Lance Cpl. Michael Wayne Hanks of Gregory Mich. in an earlier photo with an Iraqi youth he befriended. Lance Cpl. Hanks was killed Wed. 11/17/04 by small arms in Fallujah. RIP
Our Allies from Britian... Members of the Blackwatch Regiment with their combat gear perparing to head out on patrol from camp dogwood in Baghdad.
A BBC report with memebers of the blackwatch regiment taking cover during rocket attack on Camp Dogwood.
Love the pic of the fully equipped Iraqi trooper. Folks, once these guys start to take the initiative, the "problem" of bad guys will disappear..The Iraqis don't have to operate under the same constraints do..
Thank you.
Why isn't this blind-folded animal lying in the trench with his head blown off?
God bless 'em, one and all.
Thanks for the post.
According to the Leftists, the only monster in this photograph is the American soldier who's (gasp) SMOKING! But the captured terrorist is just "misunderstood" and simply "disagrees" with us.
Oh right. I didn't notice the cigarette in the hun's mouth.
They need a piper or two.
"Dead men tell no tales, but prisoners can become quite talkative."
Agreed!
Thanks.
A prayer offered in graditude to all of the fine young men and women who have given "their last full measure of devotion."
Just hope it's not a pair of used panties, shame, shame
He's really sorta like George Washington, according to Matt Lauer.
I heard Ollie North on the radio with Sean Hannity a few days ago. He was plugging his new book on WW11--I think I heard his say that at the end of WWll, when the US was doing in Germany, what they are trying to do now in Iraq, the US lost about 1000 troops AFTER the war, just to snipers and such.
I think, I heard him say that what the new German leader (selected by the US govt.), did was order the former SS and other German soldiers to fight the snipers and get rid of them or they would never have their country back. Ollie said it worked. If I am remembering this right, what you said about the fully geared Iraqi seems to be the very best thing to concentrate on (aside from rebuilding and fixing up the infrastructure).
I know this has been Bushs goal, but do you think Ollie was insinuating that they arm and train the Baathists or other "bad guys" too?
Yeah, don't those awful Americans know that freedom fighter might get secondhand smoke sitting so close? (yes, obvious sarcasm. No flames, please)
Don't think you will get any flames regarding the cigarette smoke on this web site!!!!!!
I think this website is full of "personal responsiblity" types and "anything to get you through the war" types when it comes to our military!!!!!
Lauer was just doing his NBC-supplied cocaine again before the show.
Brave Lance Corporal Hanks, who gave the supreme sacrifice in defense of his country, was able to take time out from the horrors of war to befriend and comfort an Iraqi child. He probably felt in his heart that he was protecting him, too. When I see these things and then hear these b@stard liberals who are so quick to call our soldiers and Marines all sorts of vile names and condemn the fellow who shot the terrorist in the mosque. God help me, I just want to grab them by the throat and squeeze the life out of them.
