Provisional ballots overwhelming going REPUBLICAN? Another pre-election myth destroyed.

As predicted. I've noticed the nervous nellies and the trolls have pretty much given up on this issue. The only election deniers left are the bone heads over at DU and even their posts are increasingly dispirited.

The liberals will now start bring people down to County Elections offfices who they said meant to vote but were too stoned because of 'pre-election depression syndrome'. They will be declared dissenfranchised and their vote should count. "WHY WON'T THE REPUBLICANS COUNT ALL THE VOTES".

I bet by the time they finish the provisionals, Bush will have increased his lead. The 93,000 spoiled ballots will not make any difference.

(I use the term Blue Cities, not Blue States. PA is red except for Philly, Pgh & Erie.)
I'd like to see either an electronic voting system with a paper trail, or a scan system. Part of me wishes that were standardized everywhere, but it is up to the states/counties/cities to decide. Is there any way to mandate positive ID for at least the federal election process?
Even with no fraud concerns, I wish the process was more efficient overall than it is now, where you could have all the votes tallied within 24 hours at the most, with the only exceptions/delays being overseas absentee ballots (mostly military) and in the event of a write-in candidate.

I'd sure love to know who the 29% failed provisional ballots were cast for. 99% democrat is my guess.

A rejection rate of only 29%? Looks like the Ohio officials are going out of their way to allow every possible ballot. And still the "cheating method of choice" ballots are breaking for Bush.
