The ACLU is a hate group....a hate 'the America of our founders' hate group
They are a religion as they believe in the set 'not God' and can only do so as a matter of faith.
They cannot prove He does not exist and is not sovereign... yet they wish to stop anyone who teaches that He does exist and is sovereign.
They propagate the lie 'Separation of church and state' claiming this is in our Constitution..when in fact it is not...these words cannot be found written any where in that document.
The intent of Jefferson when he wrote about a wall of separation was to make clear that the state mandated church would not happen in America...as it had in England. No king would madate how Christ was to be worshiped in OUR nation. Yet the ACLU convinces many that this 'separation' actually exists...of course among these 'many' are those who are most willing to be convinced and unfortunately for America they are in positions of authority...and in the courts where they can be great pests.
My pop was career Navy...and scouting was one of the best activities we had going for us on the various bases I and the other dependent kids grew up on...
These Navy bases were a gold mine of great scout leaders ...we had PBY, Corsair,Avenger and Panther Jet pilots, Force Recon Marines, Naval Intel...,PT Boat crew members, MPs, mecahnics and machinists...you name it we had some of the best U.S. military personnel giving of their time, themselves, and their expertise..teaching us such a variety of things and skills that no civilian enclave ever match.
The ACLU wants to deny American kids the positive kinds of influence only such great men can provide...
But this same ACLU will defend to the death the rights of pedophiles and other scum bags to be boy scout leaders and sodomites...scouts...
That pretty much tells us all we need to know about the ACLU...

I was active duty in the Air Force and active with the Boy Scouts for many years. I've had five children that are now adults. Three boys and two girls. All were Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts. My wife has been a leader in the GS for 20 years and recently, finally dropped out of it now that our own children are grown. I left the BS a few years back when my last son stopped being a scout. The point is, during the time I was in the service the military itself was a big supporter for the scouts (Boy and Girl) and should remain a separate, but supporting entity for them.
The fact that there are groups like the ACLU out there attempting to undermine the Scouts true achievements, which is basically, putting children into a leadership role, teaching them self discipline shows that those who scream the loudest "It's for the children" are really, in essence saying "It's so that we can CONTROL the children our way, not your way".
If instilling a few moral values in the children is "wrong" to the ACLU and other groups, then it must be the right thing to do. I strongly suggest that we all contact the Pentagon directly and tell them how we all feel about it. I strongly suggest we all get in there and start posting messages to them regarding the lack of support for the Scouts (yeah, I read it and it says they won't stop, but I expect each person here who cares a bit about the Scouts to actually take 5 minutes and post a message endorsing the military's previous support of the scouts and a message to them to CONTINUE that support, regardless of the "political consequences", since that is all this is... a political trap for military leaders)
