MONTGOMERY -- Bobby Frank Cherry, convicted of killing four black girls in a racially motivated bombing of a Birmingham church in 1963, died Thursday in prison. He was 74.
Cherry died at about 3:30 p.m. in the hospital unit at Kilby Correctional Facility in Montgomery,

I am glad this scum of a person is dead, but if only we had passed a hate crimes bill. Then, we could chop his rotting carcass into little pieces and feed it to the birds. The Republicans are racists and terrible people for not supporting the Hate Crimes Bill. Sure, he was punished for murder. But he wasn't punished for hate.(Sarcasm about the Hate Crime Bill; serious about him being scum).
