The party needs him and at his size, who knows what could happen. I'm sure he has great doctors looking after him but I shudder to think what the last 4 years would have been like had we lost him due to his lack of concern for his size.

VP Cheney came to Loring Air Force Base in the early 90's. He was built the same then as he is today. It's probably his stature.

I'm not sure of the timeline of his heart attacks but assuming he's had a few since 1990, his 'stature' is an indication that he could/should lose weight.
