Bill just talked about conservative economics...
HEY BILL....RAISING TAXES TO SPEND MORE......is not conservative.
Bill. You did not buy DOWN the deficit......you raised taxes and had the actual numbers covered up.
In 2001...we learned that there had been a deficit all along...and Bill lied.
Shocker.
The usual full text is:
You are adjudged and sentenced, to be carried back to the Place from whence you came, from thence to the Place of Execution, to be hanged by the Neck till you are dead, dead, dead, and may God have mercy on your soul.I'm sure Bush knows this.
He is engaging in the wonderful old Southern custom of character assassination by omission. You just have to listen to what he DOESN'T say to get what he's driving at.
He looks more like WC Fields to me!
What was that about not one person died of a terrorist attack????
I'm not following the thread as I'm trying to get some housework done, but I'm listening and had to run back and ask just how long is he going to make those people be in this rain?
Listen to him yammer on. Another londwinded speech saying platitudes and making claims.
Bragging now about "the record is there". Many places we tried to help. "I worked so hard".
He's a parody of himself. "I did all I could".
Have you ever heard such narcissistic claptrap?
Now he's thanking the world..'I did all I could on Isreal'
Oh SHUT UP about Middle East peace, Bill.
You're on thin ice here.
He's just getting into all the people he saved from surely death and destruction. This could take a while. He tried so hard for peace in the middle east. He did all he could. When he wasn't getting his own missile polished, that is.
What a pompous windbag!
Which part? He did NOT say the part about going to hell forever--that was my addition.
He DID say "May God have mercy on his soul." It was at a news conference a week or so before Arafat actually died. His death had been reported, and a reporter aked Pres. Bush's reaction, and he said "May God have mercy on his soul."
Or did you mean he didn't say "God bless his soul?"
Are you saying that you would have preferred that George W. Bush would have said some of the things said on this thread rather than what he said?
Do you have no sense of decorum?
This event is really waxing long, isn't it?
"But, enough about me, let us begin our tour of dis Graceland."
clean the toilets....
The rapist has been waiting for this moment and he is going to give this speech come hell or high water......looks like the high water is going to get him first.
I can't remember the exact verse in Proverbs, but it states that those that mistreat you treat them with kindness and it will heap coals of fire on their head. I believe this is what Bush is doing, heaping coals of fire on Clintons head, because Clinton looks smaller and is not respected. Not even among his own ilk is he respected, just tolerated.
I disagree. What you heard from W today was all surface and no substance. At Reagans funeral he spoke from his heart and many here on FR considered his speech the best of all them. My preference was for Cheneys at the Capitol Rotunda but to each his own.
HAHAHAHAHHAHA
thank you old cracker... you're right we are at that!!
hehehehe

***What kind of planning do the Clintons have going for them***
They don't plan for anything. Reference 9/11
