"Who the hell is John Kerry? Isn't he one of those historical footnotes or something? "I think he was an answer to one of the questions in a Trivial Pursuit game I was playing the other night.
No on could remember his name, though.

Not quite yet...unfortunately.
Let him press this idiotic lawsuit and he'll be lucky to BE a footnote -- more likely, he'll end up in every law school textbook as an example of specific incompetence at the law, and one of the most gigantic screwups in its practice.
And, discovery during such a suit -- if I'm not mistaken -- will reveal both the contents of his DD-SF180 AND the subsequent, curiously convenient, revisions of the exact status of his discharge.
Bring it on, Botox Boy.

Yeh, he was wearing a bunny suit or some such. And a duck hunter's suit. His footnote is beside some other Massachusetts guy who drove around in a tank and tried to run for President. And some lady who was gonna be the First Female Vice President.
John and John are members of the Also-ran-but-didn't-win Club.
John K may try to run again, but he was only the nominee because Dean went into meltdown, and most of the 57 million votes were NOT FOR him, but AGAINST Bush. John K would be lucky to get 10 million if he ran again.
John E won't even have a political base when the current Senate session ends. John E won't have any more political experience by 2008. There isn't much he would run for, win and use. John E's best hope was a Kerry win this time. Didn't happen and John E, like John K, won't have the chance to carry the banner again. Next round, 2008 is Hillary's, if she wants it.
As for suing the SBV's, his attorneys will advise against that--discovers, subpoenaing his military records, etc. No, this is just a threat like all the threats Team Kerry to theaters and to TV stations and to book sellers. Team Kerry used threats to try to intimidate--without great success.
