I got chills as well. Because it reminded me of the story from earlier in Nov. when there was the story from NJ regarding someone trying to sell "black market" flu vaccine that was illegally imported from the Middle East and I think France. Anyway, when googling for a link, as a reminder of this story...which was never really resolved...as to who and why...well look what I found...and check the date of the info...Dec. 6..today!! Considering the name and connection....my gut feeling about this story was right on target.

Cops: Man Busted For Importing Illegal Vaccine (NJ - 12/6/04)

New Developments In Story First Seen On CBS 2 Dec 6, 2004 12:48 pm US/Eastern NEW JERSEY (CBS) The man police believe was illegally importing black market flu vaccine to New Jersey is behind bars.

Mohammed Mahmoud Abu Arqoub, 37, faces a Monday arraignment. He was picked up Saturday in Philadelphia, after federal sources say he was likely overseas looking for more illegal vaccine.

CBS 2 was there two weeks ago when agents from the Homeland Security Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement raided his home in Somers Point. They confiscated boxes of evidence relating to an alleged plot to smuggle flu vaccine to be sold in the U.S.

Agents said Abu Arqoub somehow obtained a 800 doses of a vaccine called Vaxigrip, which is made in France and not approved by the Food and Drug Administration. He is believed to have shipped the vaccine in individual syringes to Saudi Arabia to J.F.K. airport, and was intending to sell it to Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point.

The asking price was $55 a dose, or $44,000. Hospital officals called federal authorities when they were approached.

Officially, Abu Arqoub faces charges of illegally importing unapproved flu vaccine in the country.
