A newly declassified U.S. intelligence report that was recently obtained by Judicial Watch, an American public interest group, suggests that Osama bin Laden and his terrorist network al-Qaida plan to establish a base in Chechnya, a place they describe as unreachable by strikes from the West.

Program to find missing passports
From correspondents in Santiago, Chile
November 19, 2004
"AUSTRALIA and the United States will trial a system to find up to three million passports missing across the Asia-Pacific region.
Foreign Minister Alexander Downer said the system, if successful, would help in the fight to stop terrorists."
I don't know if there are any other Chicagoans out there, but the whole city smells like dead fish tonight. I was just out to several different spots around the north side of town and everyone is complaining about the odor.
There is a heavy mist/fog tonight and the odor is just hanging out there. It gets worse as you get closer to Lake Michigan.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Secretary of State Colin Powell on Thursday posted a $5 million reward for information leading to the capture of Mustafa Setmariam Nasar, an al Qaeda operative who ran a terrorist training camp in Afghanistan.
Also known as Abu Musab Suri, he trained terrorists in poisons and chemicals, the State Department said.
In September 2003, he was among 35 people named in an indictment handed down by Spanish magistrate Baltasar Garzon for terrorist activities connected to Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda organization. Ten of the 35, including bin Laden, were charged with planning the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and using Spain as a base."

What you were smelling was probably a trash-fired steam plant for power generation. The piles of garbage generate methane, which is the primary component of flatulence. The methane fuels the steam plant. We have a couple of place like that here in Norfolk, and I can't imagine anyone being able to live near them.
Sis has been in Seattle for about 6 years.
I have to laugh at her, she is a "Peace Loving, shine the light of love" person.
Now it is seattle with muslims, before that it was 20 years in Coeur d'alene, Idaho, where all the nazi's had the big camps.
It goes over her head.
