The Threat Matrix
The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.
"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."
We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research. |

"We should have secured the Mexican border." That could be the pitiful lament we hear from negligent U.S. officials if Al Qaeda pulls off an attack on the United States using weapons of mass destruction smuggled across our southern frontier. Were that horrendous event to happen, leaders in the administration and Congress would be justly hit with the same question that was perhaps unjustly cast at them and their predecessors after the unprecedented Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks: Why didn't they connect the dots? |

You have a very good point. I am pro-Israel at all cost. This was a totally new angle to me. My second thought is Russia is going to use this however they see fit, no matter who takes credit for it.

I forgot to mention that there was a train derailment outside of Memphis Thanksgiving morning. The link below is a "bare bones" report. Local news in Nashville said the cause is still under investigation. There were no injuries reported, but a fuel spill forced a small area evacuation.

That's interesting, thanks.
I checked Tennessee news several times over Thanksgiving, but
must of missed this.

It surely appears that way. My brain is fuzzy from attempting to connect who all is in cahoots together against the US. At this point, I've almost come to the conclusion that it's almost everyone who isn't part of the Coalition forces (and I'm only being slightly sarcastic...)

I saw the tv news report that night, but had a hard time finding any link to post when I googled just now. Funny how these things are almost treated as blase by the MSM if they can't spin it somehow.

"That is REALLY interesting and this one also. You got to think outside the box. All the others are to obvious.
What a twist of events this would be."
If you read tea leaves you might wonder about India or Great Britain being involved.

"CHINA??? Okay, I'm completely confuzzled"
China supplies/supplied weapons to the Arabs/muslims. Chinese nuke plans turned up in Libya, via Khan from Pakistan. China is behind North Korea's nuke. NK supplied the Ayatohlas in Iran. China is fighting a proxy war right now. Maybe they will get burned this time.

I agree with you. I knew there was strong dirty money in South-South America and I thought they would just have a beer and enjoy life but I guess not.
It is so hard to see what motavates people, oh let run over to Europe and sell our rings and things. Then run up through Mexico and kill a few Americans. Oh boy what a road trip. My head is spinning!

I wouldn't be surprised if you had several entities working together on a program in pieces. Any one country would be attacked immediately if they had it going on all at once, but if different, apparently disparate places were working on it. It's just a "cause for concern" and maybe a threat of sanctions from the UN.
Case in point. Iran is building rockets and paying lip service to halting nuke development. NK is stalling for time while it does some nuke work. It would not surprise me one bit to see NK nuclear materials inside a Pakistani warhead on top of an Iranian rocket headed toward a target specified by Al Qaeda.
Man, would our silos be busy if that happened!

Here's a blast from the past regarding the 2 guys arrested in TN back in May for eluding police and throwing an unknown substance from their rented Ryder truck. (The original article seems to have been reprinted at the website below. I have not researched this site, but the original article was from the Asheville Citizen-Times.)

This exact scenario has crossed my mind more than once. We are living in dangerous times...

HHummmmmmm I can't see any upside for them they already do fairly well (for India I use that loosely). They want to be the world power OK 'tell them they are no need to kill us.'
One more thing do you guys think Russia is looking "weak"
