Good pick, if Rudy is willing to run. The trouble is, if not Pataki or Giuliani for Governor, then who? Powell would probably be electable, as it stands, but I don't think he runs for it. Kerik probably isn't well known enough Upstate, and I thing he lives in Jersey now (I can't remember, but I think the reason he can't run for NJ Gov. is because he hasn't lived there long enough, but he might not live there at all right now). Who else?
