It really depends on how much force we're allowed to use.
If we could use everything at our disposal, we'll be nation building in China, Russia, and Europe for a long time......

Ah, you started down the right path but did not finish the thought - IMHO.
My answer would be, all depends on who has been in charge of this country for the build up and who is in charge at the time when the ballon goes up.
If the 'slackers' get in charge, we are toast.
If the adults remain in charge, our military should be a healthy (techno, quantity wise) organization, able to deal with at least two fronts.
