That's always how it works, yes...
What is the hand recount margin?
If there is a hand recount, Rossi loses.
I figure 50-70 vote win for Rossi.
IF ONLY 250 OUT IN BENTON & CURRENT % HOLDS
ROSSI BY 95 VOTES
IF 750 VOTES OUTSTANDING
ROSSI BY 272 VOTES
150
The Republicans need to be the last to post so that the Dems don't know how many to manufacture. It's not a matter of showboating.
So did I, 5:00 or 5:30.
Let's hope !
You here? AAAACCCCCHHHHHH!!!!!
Why?
Washington State law requires a machine recount if the certified results show a difference of less than 2000, which now seems almost certain. It also requires a manual recount if the difference is less than 150 votes. A machine recount is estimated to take a week, a hand recount a month or more.
that's nothing compared to septic tank problems ( you know what I mean)
I remember one of those a long time ago - we were at my cousins, and, as luck would have it they're campers, so we finished the turkey on the grill, brought out the propane stove to keep other items warm, listened to the football game on the portable radio, and used lanterns and candles for light (actually, it was kinda fun - the most unique Thanksgiving I've spent anyway).
What we were looking for in Benton was a pickup of 286 votes based on the 750 number.
Rossi at 68 percent
Gregoire at 30 percent.
So now we're looking for radically lower vote totals and radically different percentages, which is exactly how it came down in Grays Harbor.
I'm gettin' another glass of wine....and dinner!
Any link for the provisional results in the last county remained?
I believe it is 5. If Gregoire was ahead at 5, wonder if the Dems will say any votes after that won't count.
That's why Gray Harbor put in a few extra... /s
