Don't know why either.
I heard that Hardees were renting their land, not owning it outright (like McD's) Rent went up and all of a sudden - no profits. We have a couple here in Des Moines, both own their own land.
Be fun to find out:)
We just got a Cheeburger franchise here. You can get a 1 lb. cheeseburger with sauteed mushrooms and onions, whatever condiments you like and served with a real milkshake (made with Edy's premium ice cream and whole milk), and an order of 'Frings' (french fries and onion rings).
If you can eat the whole thing, they'll post your picture on the wall.
They should sell a life insurance policy to go with it. :-)
Then the net would be rife with rumors of Anne being pregnant.
LOL..........."Have it your way."
heh heh! Rookie!
;o)
Let me just take a moment to thank you for this link.
It's a great neighborhood. Mostly Italian. No sketchy characters, unless you don't like "made men."
looooooooooooooool
Thanks a lot. Now I'm hungry again.
BTW, I could easily wipe out three of those.
Hell yea! Let's go on Friday.
Could I pack that away today? -- Not a chance, but that type of eating and calories served me well in the days when I burned all of the calories I could get and then some.
I'm currently on a diet, losing about 2-3lbs a week, this burger represents about 1 entire days calories for me... so while I shudder at the cholesterol levels this beast must have... a healthy active male could have one of these suckers as a meal and still eat 2 other modest meals and be at or under their caloric needs for the day. Of course if you add the large fries and a non diet soda with that beast, you probably are at or above the daily caloric intake for most people in a day in a single sitting.
The danger isn't that this burger exists, but that folks will eat this for dinner, after eating a whopper for lunch and a sausage egg and cheese busquit for breakfast.
One thing for sure, this has given Hardee's more press nationally than they've had in a long time. I love Hardee's, grew up in the south and their "Hot Ham N Cheese" are my undeniable favorite. Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on how you look at it, there are no Hardee's in Pittsburgh any longer... so if I want one I'd have to drive to Washington PA to get it... which isn't going to happen... so I just make sure to visit them when I travel to places where they are.
I'm just not a city girl. I get lost easily in the city, and I'm not good at sizing up the surroundings. Plus, I have "Mug Me" tattooed on my forhead, and "Vandalize Me" painted on my car.
The other night I saw a recipe for deep fried twinkies on the net and decided to give it a shot. I ate three. That has to top any record set by this burger.
