If we are having problems with sexual education here in America, shouldn't we try to implement a system that the Dutch have in place? I don't know the positives/negatives of the system because I can't get any details on the web, can some of you help me out?
I hear they have an average of 8 pregnancies per 1,000. Plus their abortion rate is the lowest in the world.

Got a site for that. I think it's a bunk urban legend with no basis in fact. Jamaicans don't seem to have any trouble reproducing.

It's those wooden condoms. The Dutch girls say the slpinters hurt like hell, so they just don't do it very often.
I don't think the Dutch boys stick their fingers in the dike anymore. Flooding and homosexuality have taken their toll.

Bottom line is that these countries have a far lower pregnancy rate among teenagers and a far lower abortion rate than we do in the US. It's just the truth.
It's shameful that we do so poorly in this regard.
What are the reasons? I don't know for sure, but I do know that the numbers are there.
Some here are making a joke of it, but I don't find it amusing at all. We Americans should be ashamed of our record in this regard.

Holland is famous for women answering their doors in the nude, promiscuity, and things that would make your hair curl.

But don't forget: the rate of teen pregnancies is down... This is probably due to sex education in schools...

I have no data, but knowing something about Dutch culture I reckon it's due to the pill. Whereas, minors in the US typically do not take it.

Does anyone think that it's because of the government subsidized pill? I think that would be a huge factor.
Well I guess all the good looking non-bombed Dutch came to America then, being Dutch myself.
The Pill doesn't stop that stuff!
If that rate is as low/high as ours, then it's not the MJ. On the other hand, .......
