Search warrant seeks items in car Police said they are investigating if Noel Gomez might have shot other people.
By KARA D. EBERLE Daily Record/Sunday News Wednesday, November 17, 2004 West Manchester Township Police Detective Sgt. Jeff Snell filed a search warrant at District Justice Daniel Garber's office Monday requesting all evidence pertaining to Sunday's shooting in a West Manchester Township parking lot.
The request includes ammunition, firearms, notebooks and clothing from the white Chevrolet Corsica police say suspect Noel Gomez was driving and the room Gomez had checked into at the Red Roof Inn on Route 30.
As part of the ongoing investigation, police are also checking into whether suspect Noel Gomez could be responsible for other random shootings across the country, West Manchester Township Chief Arthur Smith said.
"I don't know if he did any before," the chief said. "So, to assume that he hadn't would be a mistake. We have to look at everything here."
Police said they have not determined if Gomez planned to commit any more crimes. Investigators found maps in Gomez's car, but they don't know if that is related to the shooting, Smith said.
What if her baby dies? Will he still seek the death penalty?????
