The MSM conveniently omits that just 2 days before, this very same unit lost 2 soldiers because the terrorists had booby trapped the dead body of one of their own.

The time for holding our media to the same standard is long overdue. They are saying the Iraqi was wounded" - who says?
They repeatedly use the word "insurgents" in place of terrorist or enemy combatant.
They knew full well that the soldier in question had lost a buddy to a booby trap the day before and himself was shot in the face by an enemy pretending to be injured. But they excluded that information.
When all is said and done the news accounts of this incident should be thoroughly dissected and they should be held accountable for lying by om-mission. The facts they didn't report were facts they didn't want us to know.
IMHO: If our FCC had any moral and ethical backbone at all they would impose a penalty on media propagandists like NBC forcing them to air disclaimers before broadcasts saying that they have been known to fabricate reports and editorialize for the sake of sensationalism and should not be taken as a serious journalistic vendor
...."This program is not factual. It is news based entertainment and is the opinion of this network only."

too bad the media "in beds" didn't get the chance to film booby trapped bodies close up the previous two days before when Marines were killed...I mean real close up, like blood scattering, lens covering, ear deafening, headline making (MSM
reporter and cameraman mistakingly get too close) type of close.

Funny how the media glosses over the brutal murder of hostages at the hands of Islamists (indeed, they won't show THOSE videos), but you get footage of one soldier offing what was most likely the enemy lying-in-wait and all hell breaks loose.
It should be noted that Kevin Sites (the embedded cameraman) is notoriously Left-wing and anti-war. I'm sure he was just itching to insert his bias into the whole thing.

The media's goal (Brokaw, France, CBS, ABC, Disney)
is to have American's hesitate and DIE.
Brokaw belongs in Gitmo as a prisoner.

THAT is why Sites (curse him) was hired by NBC.
They share the SAME goals. Destruction of America.

The terrorists created the conditions for this kind of mistake by playing possum and trying to kill U.S. fighters. It is a violation of the law of land warfare to feign surrender or noncombatant status. An enemy who violates these principles is morally and legally responsible for the consequences, including accidental killing of noncombatants and wounded.

I've been watching the MSM on this for two days now, and it seems on the surface that the hubbub is dying out. On NBC Evening News last night they covered the story, and did mention the Marine that was killed by a booby-trapped corpse the previous day. In fact the report seemed pretty objective. On Fox & Friends this morning they played the video, but their stance was very pro-Marine. And all morning I'm listening to an ABC Radio affiliate, and their top-of-the-hour newscasts haven't even mentioned the incident, more concerned with the Top 500 Songs of All Time and SearsKMart. Maybe the MSM heard from the "Folks" yesterday, and toned it down to preserve their bottom line.
