Some Democrats Believe the Party Should Get Religion

Impossible to be a democrat today and have religion, unless it is worship of the secular, or humanists, or nature, or karl marx. The democrats of today are too far gone to have any real faith in God.

Better get guns too. As long as the likes of Chuckie Schmuckhead, Diane Fineswine, John F'en Kerry and and Big Fat Teddy try to infringe on my Second Amendment rights I'll not vote for a single Democrat.

.....it may not take much for Democrats to make inroads among their constituency, if the party demonstrates a greater friendliness to religious beliefs and even modestly softens its support for abortion rights.....

That's assuming Dumbocrat pressure groups let up, and allow softening of the radical issues Dims have embraced all these years.

Let's see. There's the usual suspects: abortion-worshipping Feminazis, the fully fornicating Playboy-Cosmo faction, secular humanists who despise Christians, Planned Parenthood and the population control cabal, the anti-family idealogues, aided and abetted by (1) a compliant liberal media,(2) academia which inculcates the Nation's youth with the idealogy, and, last, but not least (3) Hollywarped---stealth Christian-haters---who proselytize audiences without their knowledge or consent into the THE HOLLYWOOD CREED:

Christians are evil.

Women are to be valued only for their cleavage.

The traditional family is archaic, constricting, with no redeeming value.

Parents that try to guide their children's choices are restrictive. Kids need to be "free".

Extreme movie violence and explicit sex for the thrill of it is good because it is profitable.

Sex between a man and a woman is old-fashioned: threesomes, bestiality, necrophilia, homosexuality are news ways to get a thrill.

Hollywood firmly believes that 24/7 of the sexually salacious and violent TV, movies and music we produce are not harming kids and the culture.

OTOH, we also believe----with the religious fervor of Tammy Faye Baker---- that a single 15-sec commercial will compel tens of millions of Americans into thousands of stores to buy billions of dollars worth of soap, soup, breakfast cereal and cars.

Of the two strategies the Democrats are considering (1) True Leftist Believers Unite! and (2) Stealth candidates, my bet is on (2). I think we will see a repackaging of Hillery! to be a Bible-believing defense-hawk. Other candidates will follow suit. The MSM will march in lock step to the new program. They will complain about Hillery! has abandoned her liberal base, etc. Will this pull the wool over the rubes eyes? Not with FReepers standing guard!

But Democrats disagree about how to establish the party's spiritual credentials.

The Dems will never be able to come to a consensus on this because the most vocal wing of that party is ANTI-religion.

One does not "get" religion, one receives it.

Or maybe an even better way to say it is that "religion" needs to get us.

But of course the fundamental problem is not that the Donks needs to get religion; it's that they don't even "get" religion, if you know what I mean.
