There maybe some pictures of all 4 around because they were all up on the platform at the election victory rally.
You are both very welcome. Dick Cheney is the best VP ever, in my (perhaps not so humble [grin]) opinion.
Wow! Lynne was sure a beautiful young woman. And at least in that photo, the young Dick Cheney bore a bit of a resemblance to the great Ronald Reagan. I love the buzz cut.
I expect they are dressed in period clothing for the launch of the book.
It's remarkable, isn't, and the look on those two little girls' faces speaks volumes about the love and respect within that family.
**God Bless Dick Cheney and keep him well.**
Amen to that.
Good day, snugs. Just wanted you to know that SoCalPol made a special request of me late yesterday on your's and the other Cheney Chicks' behalf. I had pinged her to this thread, and she asked me to post the photo over on the "Day in the life of thread..." as well, because she thought you might catch it there. So it's over there waiting for you, also.
**Also -- where did you get the grandson photo? I looked all over the Net and didn't find any more news about it. **
Its on the Whitehouse Website in fact it is the picture I have as my wallpaper so every time I turn my computer on I see this beautiful photograph of grandparents who obviously dote on their grandchildren and also each other.
The baby's full name is Philip Richard Perry.
So Philip after his father and obviously Richard after Dick.
Full name Philip Richard Perry
Halliburton puppet Dick Cheney sits with his granddaughters as they listen to Lynne Cheney speak during a reception. The girls' aunt, Mary Cheney, is a lesbian.
Thanks snugs! While I was looking for his name last night, I never found it, but I did find something that speaks to your other post, the one about doting grandparents.
The article talked about the children's toys all over the VP residence. About the pink bicycles on the porch and little orange goggles by the pool.
They talked about Lynne picking the girls up from school sometimes and helping with their homework.
The idea of little pink bicycles on the porch just thrills me!
Nice post!
I should haven known you'd be here.
if not for lynne...and well.... xshub... i'd be right there! ; )

"...Every weekend Dick and Lynne Cheney are in Washington, the three granddaughters - Kate, 9, Elizabeth, 6, and Grace, 4 - spend the night at the vice president's residence. The girls, each of whom has a sleeping bag there with her name on it, sprawl on the floor of their grandparents' bedroom, along with the Cheneys' two Labrador retrievers.
Yet the girls know their lives aren't exactly like everyone else's. Several weeks ago, when Elizabeth, who had just lost a tooth, was heading for a sleepover at the vice president's mansion, she worried that the tooth fairy would be unable to get past all the security.
When one of Kate's friends told her that a Democratic presidential candidate had said something mean about her grandfather on a Sunday talk show, the oldest daughter quipped: "Ah, don't worry about it. He doesn't know what he's talking about." ..."
Have you seen Kay Bailey Hutchinson's new book on women in power?
Lynne was a BATON twirler.........LOL.....and so was Ruth Ginsburg!
hey,i was president of the spanish club, she's got nothing on me! ; )
