Yours is a valid question, however the "guilt" should fall squarely on Sites for not revealing he had prior knowledge of the wounded until after the Marine fired. Only afterwards, when the inbred reporter revealed what he did, the Marine said, "I didn't know, sir."

Why should the reporter not be held more highly responsible when he set the Marines up for this incident? If he knew they were wounded and unarmed, why was he crouched behind the Marines for "protection"?

IMO, this reporter should be hung out to dry and beaten like a pinata.

How were previous generations of Americans ever able to trust our military to do the right thing and protect our interests without a cameraman and reporter peering over the shoulder of every uniform? How fortunate we are that there are so many objective journalists willing to quietly and selflessly risk their lives to bring the truth as they see it to the American people.

The ingratitude of the American military and the civilian populace toward the news media is frustrating but understandable.
