THEY'RE BACK........
Yes folks, it's time that time again. Congress is back is session and ready to write laws that govern our lives. I'm sure the Democrats will be most gracious and conciliatory upon their return after getting beat like a drum in the election. (yeah, right)
Let see we've got 9 spending bills to pass to keep the gov't running, Porter Goss, Condi Rice, Al Gonzales, and others that will be sent through the ringer of hearings, the Oil-for-Food scandal that is just about ready to do a "boil over", intelligence reforms, and possibly a Supreme Court Chief Justice appointed
It should be both fun and painful to watch....... };o)
The Senate will next convene on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004.
12 noon: Convene and begin a period of morning business.
Thereafter, proceed to executive session to consider the nomination of Francis J. Harvey to be Secretary of the Army.
Ping!
Please add me to your ping list!
I'm looking forward to next session!
Did Kerry show up for work ??
Has Uncle Teddy had a drunk screaming fit yet??
Has Bobby "Sheets" Bryd read a poem yet??
Has Reid (or was it Harkin?)talked about some poor girl showing up at his office seeking medical help??
The Senate just won't be the same with those Dems
Oh oh .. and let's not forget about Barbie Boxer telling about her recent grocery store adventures and women coming up to her telling their sad sad stories about wanting an abortion
And I'm sure Kerry will be there and will not be able to shut up.
Well there you go looking for a bright spot ...
I forgot about that .... hehehe
This is a fantastic idea! Great job!
OXEN, Can I get a membership to the Sentate ping list?
Thanks

Cool site.....I'll be sure to add it to the link list next month.
Oh great more cacti and rabbits
Radio report just said Reid was Pro-gun............
That can't be right.
Have any of the defeated or retiring Senators decided to resign in order to give their replacement a little more seniority than the rest of the freshman class? IIRC, Zell Miller said he was going to do that.
I'm still not going to trust him any further than I can throw him.
First I've heard of that..
