I totally agree. I heard the tape this morning; they clearly were concerned with whether one of the terrorists was faking death. They had no way of knowing if he was booby-trapped, had a grenade...what.

We always taught our soldiers to sustain fire until they were ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN WITH ZERO DOUBT that the enemy had been rendered harmless.

It would be a CRIMINAL DISSERVICE to these soldiers for us to require otherwise. It will get them killed if they don't follow the above rule.

I understand that this young man or a friend of his had been injured in just such a way a some recent date.

Please write your senator, congressman, media outlets in support of this young man.

I heard another story it seems this was a different troops that came upon these wounded iraqi which now differers meaning were they terrorist or citizens.

Anyway this second troops had NO idea if they were citizens or terrorist!

One thing for sure until this was sorted out never would we hear cofusing reports!
