NBC's New York news studio is (212) 664-4444. Ask for "complaint line." Also, I suggest calling or e-mailing local NBC affiliate.

I was in Charlie 1/5 in Vietnam (67-68). I am mad enough to get in trouble over NBC's treachery.

I took your suggestion and called, and asked for the complaint line. Told them I was furious that Sites had given the video to Reuters instead of the DoD. Told them I didn't have NBC on my DirecTV and never would, because of coverage like this. Told them that I'd be calling sponsors and urging them to drop NBC period. Told them I was sick of them all.

So here's a bump for the number you gave. It's good. ;-D

As somebody earlier up on the thread suggested, we would be even more effective if we CONTACTED NBC's ADVERTISERS with our displeasure. I don't know how to ascertain who is advertising on NBC News short of compiling a list by watching it though.

If enough FReepers are ticked off enough to do this, we could set some advertisers ears to burning, reminiscent of the SlimFast/Whoopee Goldberg effort. Which would catch even more attention from the NBC beancounters who hold the purse strings.

I'd assist in the effort.
