As somebody earlier up on the thread suggested, we would be even more effective if we CONTACTED NBC's ADVERTISERS with our displeasure. I don't know how to ascertain who is advertising on NBC News short of compiling a list by watching it though.

If enough FReepers are ticked off enough to do this, we could set some advertisers ears to burning, reminiscent of the SlimFast/Whoopee Goldberg effort. Which would catch even more attention from the NBC beancounters who hold the purse strings.

I'd assist in the effort.

Agreed, I have often advocated getting back at the MSM through their advertisers. It seems the only truth or loyalty the MSM understands now days is their pocketbook. a 1000, 5000, or more letters to the advertisers , say P & G as an example. Would have exec's sweating.

If I recall correctly, I read on another thread (or this one, earlier) that GE is one of NBC's national sponsors. I don't have contact information to pass out.

I did call the Marines and NBC's complaint line. If you find a sponsor list, would you ping me to it, and I'll get active on it.

Thanks--

Judy
