FOX and Friends covered this fairly this AM. Told about the details, how he was injured the day before, fellow Marines killed by booby-trapped bodies, etc. Edie was pissed at the unfair reporting of the story by others. Then ABC radio news reported last hour that the solider shot an unarmed, injured Iraqi insurgent who had surrendered. Nothing else -- no details, no explanation. The MSM is lower than low, beneath pond scum.

Email I just sent to my congressman:

My letter to you concerns the NBC video, shown first
by Reuters News Service of the apparent shooting of an
Iraqi by a US Marine.

My request to you is simple and two-fold:

One, that you request that any investigation of this
incident be handled by the Marine Corps. We have the
highest standards and pride in our professionalism,
and can be counted on to get to the bottom of this
incident completely and honestly.

Two, I respectfully request that your office use its
influence to ensure that Mr. Kevin Sites, by nature of
his having given the video of the incident to a
foreign news service before showing it to DOD
officials, lose his DOD credentials to report on this
war and be immediately and permanently banned from the
embed program.
