Marine accused of wrongful shooting needs our help...
16 nov 04 | Atlanta

Posted on 11/16/2004 4:34:34 AM PST by Atlanta

I'm going to start with a communication of support of this young Marine, to the Commandant of the Marine Corps himself. Then, President Bush and my Senator/Congressman.They are going to hear from me and I have all friggin day to do it. I am so livid about this that words cannot describe. As a former Marine myself, this young "Leather" was doing what he was trained to do, adapting to unreasonable circumstances (enemy tricks) and he did exactly what I would have done and what has always been done with a fanatical enemy. If authorities hang this Marine out to dry, I will never stop raising hell and will become a point man for pulling these guys out of theater entirely...MSM is SICK. Other suggestions?

What is Sean hannity's problem?

He is saying that on it's face it looks like a Marine killed an "innocent" guy? what? Sean is defending the marine, but inadequately. That guy was an effing insurgent. By no stretch of the imagination is he an innocent bystander. WTF??

He's not saying that at all. Listen to the whole thing.AS somebody said previously here. A good way to stop these journalists from such reporting is to ask the imbed to go check on the injured terrorist himself.

When the operation began by order of Iraq Prime Minister Iyad Allawi, as I recall he said to the Iraqis & our troops to kill the terrorists and destroy them.

Just following orders.

We need to boycott NBC,ABC, and CBS

He is doing what he typically does. He is saying, let's not rush to judgment, but if it looks like what it looks like that
he killed an "innocent" man, he should be puniched. We're better than that!!

Sorry, Sean, don't even say that. You say, these kids are heroes. They are in a combat zone facing the worst of the worst. They have faced guys pretending they are dead who have set off booby traps and killed many, many good marines.

That insurgent raised arms against our troops and the Iraqi people struggling to make a new, pluralistic, non-terror sponsoring Iraq, those fellas got what they deserved. Period!!

I have written to Bush, Chenny and called the Commandant of the Marine Corps office. I think Rummy would be the best cause the military all answer to him. Does anyone know how to find his e-mail phone number etc. I can't seem to find anything on him.

I just sent an email in support of the Marine to this email address: IMEFMEDIATEAM@IMEFDM.usmc.mil

This email address was at the bottom of the press release sent out by the US Marine Corps. (It was posted on their website).

I'm with you! I already emailed the pigs at NBC News. I can't believe they would stoop this low in order to have a "scandal."

He did it exactly right. When you think someone might shoot you or blow up your patrol you shoot first you don't have time to stop and think if you want to live. War is tough and nasty folks. It's the business of taking lives for both sides

Count me IN! If they hang this guy out to dry there will be hell to pay! There doesn't need to be any investigation, he was just doing what any well trained soldier would do. Give him a purple heart and turn him loose to kill more vermin!

What does Hors de combat mean? I've seen that once today and never got the definition.
