I'm going to start with a communication of support of this young Marine, to the Commandant of the Marine Corps himself. Then, President Bush and my Senator/Congressman.They are going to hear from me and I have all friggin day to do it. I am so livid about this that words cannot describe. As a former Marine myself, this young "Leather" was doing what he was trained to do, adapting to unreasonable circumstances (enemy tricks) and he did exactly what I would have done and what has always been done with a fanatical enemy. If authorities hang this Marine out to dry, I will never stop raising hell and will become a point man for pulling these guys out of theater entirely...MSM is SICK. Other suggestions?

"
Sites's reporting was cut short, however, when Iraqi Fedayeen militia outside of Tikrit captured him and his team. They were stripped of all their equipment and threatened with death until their Kurdish translator negotiated their release after four hours in captivity."
If the Fedayeen militia turned Sites loose they must have been convinced that he was on their side!!!

You can call the Office of Commandant of the Marine Corps 703 614 2500. Voice your support to his public relations officer for the Marine in question. Do the same for the White House and your state representatives. Support this Marine!

Make no mistake the MSM and the Democrats will keep this Marine in the news, front and center, 24/7...I think the MSM is about to get a whole hell of a lot of Red State anger thrown at 'em. I don't think this will last, at least not as an indictment of our troops. The liberal slimes will be all up in arms, but they'll be shut down BIG TIME by the citizens who realize that this is what happens in war.

Didn't Kerry get a medal for shooting a wounded, unarmed VC in the back?,Yes, but Kerry had no camera on him and stuck to his habit of just lying about it.

These embedded reporters are the same as the commissars attached to each Soviet company during WW2. They are there to perpetuate the Marxist ideology of the MSM, even at the cost of our soldiers' lives.
The only difference is they hold a camera instead of a revolver.. for now.

"Why the hell didn't the NBC reporter say something?"
Because blood thirsty reporters "bank" on shock and awe stories. It's what makes their $ick little worlds go round.

An Article 32 Investigation will be conducted IAW the UCMJ. Fighting with the USMC will be to no avail.
You would derive greater satisfaction from literally tarring and feathering any reporter you come across.

Well, maybe you should take charge over there. Pack enough of your vacation cloths due to all the time you'll have "assessing" the war zones. Enjoy (troll) These comments are not necessary. I obviously have a different opinion than you do, but it is no reason to call people names.

Plus, Sites was there as a pool reporter. Now why do you suppose Sites chose Rooters to give the tape to? Was that a volation of pool reporting procedures?

I can see where you would not worry.
It is not your ass that is on the line, if it was, you may have a different view.
I would not bet on President Bush pardoning him.

In the heat of battle you enter a room that has been subjected to assault - your buddies have been killed or wounded in the battle - there are people dressed in whatever moving on the floor - there are weapons on the floor - you do not speak their language. Do you:
1. Read them their rights
2. Spread out their prayer rugs
3. Ask politely where the armed bad guys are
4. Kill the coiled snake before it kills you

There ain't no mercy on a battlefield. To say that there is is just an MSM/Hollywood pipe dream. There's simply no time for mercy when you're surrounded by fanatical enemies.
God bless this Marine. I would've done the same thing.

The MSM is joined at the hip with the UN and America hating Europe. They won't be happy until half the country is wiped out in another terrorist attack, and then they'll scream that it's Bush's fault. If Kerry had won and gone to the UN, given in to whatever terrorists wanted, everything would have been hunky dory. The MSM, the UN, and Europe are dangerously delusional.

Thank you. Just called and talked to a very nice young lady marine. Please call. We can not allow the bias media to call the shots anymore. This young marine deserves a medal pure and simple.
