Pandemonium broke out during the taping of Vibe magazine's award show last night, when a man was stabbed during the ceremony, sending stars fleeing from the mayhem in their limos. The violence broke out as rapper Dr. Dre rose to accept the Vibe Legend Award from presenters Quincy Jones and Snoop Dogg, a witness at the Santa Monica event told The Post.
An unidentified man sitting with Death Row Records chief Marion "Suge" Knight lunged toward Dr. Dre with a knife but members of rapper 50 Cent's entourage intervened, the witness said.

The witness said that the production, co-hosted by supermodel Tyra Banks and rapper L.L. Cool J was immediately shut down and celebrities were spirited out of the ceremonies, being held at Santa Monica Airport's Barker Hanger.
"It was pure panic," the witness said. "I never saw anything like it. Those cars were flying out of here. Russell Simmons ran out of here crying."
Another witness told MTV that Knight had run onto the stage, screaming obscenities at the audience of about 1,000. Several people in the crowd were pepper-sprayed, the network reported.

Quality folks. I wanna be just like them.
This is really quite disturbing. What Third World sh*t!!
The liberal dreams come true...
Who let the dogs in? Who who who who??
More evidence of how sick rap music is and their so called hip hop culture. Most of these bums and bumettes should be sent to Iraq to clear mines and booby traps.
RIGHT NOW about sixteen million kid's mommas need to drag them in front of the computer, shake their finger of doom at this story and say, "You ever act this way and you'll WISH you had been arrested!"
AND
"THIS is why you don't go to parties. Now get ready for Church!"
I feel the love here...Was that MOSH-man EMINEM there also? This theatre could have been compared to some Fallujah SLAUGHTERHOUSE -so sad ;)
Perhaps DEATH ROW RECORDS EXECUTives have embraced the 'religion' of PEACE. May ALLAH bless them ALL...>:)
hahaha....exactly...human body shields
And you know what? All the unattended to white kids, and even some of those attended to, are being weaned on rap music and all its attendent deficiences in taste. Can hardly wait to see the younger generation mature into what? A bunch of Snoop Doggie Dogs?
My money says this so-called "stabbing" was staged for purely for publicity purposes at the VIBE awards.
Reports about typical rap concerts describe the phalanx of metal detectors and frisking that must be cleared before entry is allowed. I would think all these thugs and wannabes would insist on similar precautions at their award shows. The knife in question was probably made of foam rubber and similar to what you would give to a kid for his Halloween costume...
Perhaps I'm just cynical, but the "hip-hop lifestyle" is all about self-promotion.

Maybe the stabber thought it was a Palestinian funeral by mistake...
But somebody was actually stabbed. I don't think this is the WWE. You have to remember that some rappers have been killed, Tupac and biggie come to mind.
"...An unidentified man sitting with Death Row Records chief Marion 'Suge' Knight lunged toward Dr. Dre with a knife but members of rapper 50 Cent's entourage intervened..."
I wonder if the Democrats would tolerate a segment of their support base being described in the same way as they do the NASCAR watching, Wal-Mart shopping, Bud-Lite swilling rednecks whom they claim to have tipped the scales in robbing them of their 'rightful place' in Washington?
Perhaps the tolerant WHOPPI GOLDBERG was in the audience, to LIB things up a bit.......
Yes, I read that someone was stabbed. I'm not buying that it was serious because they CONTINUED the show after a delay. Could you imagine if there was an attempted murder at one of the mainstream awards shows? My bet is that it would cause much more than a minor delay.
Tupac and Biggie Smalls was just an East Coast / West Coast 'thang, right? ;-)

Seriously. Saw Jughead gut a man like a fish once, over a coke deal gone sour. Stone cold, home slice. :)
