He said that Bush is going to have a bigger fight in D.C. than he does in Iraq because he's getting rid of everybody except the neo-cons.

The paleos haven't had a constructive idea since World War II. Their two big ideas were shot down during the New Deal Era - isolationism and protectionism. Its understandable Buchanan pines for those days. 9/11 however, has taught Americans the age when two oceans protected us from outside troubles is over. How other countries treat their own people is VERY much our business. Free societies are indispensable to America's prosperity and security and that's why the outcome in Afghanistan and Iraq is so critical to our country's future.
