Turnover still alot lower than it was when Clinton was in office.
I don't think I could stand more than 4 years in one of those jobs.

If Mineta leaves, I hope he gets
a baseball bat for a retirement gift.

Very well said! I am really enjoying this as there are cabinet positions I am sure he would have filled differently under more favorable election returns in 2000. Now he has his mandate and his cabinet will be reflective of his agenda!

Both Reagan and Clinton had atleast 8 people who didn't come back for term two. One of them had 9, I forget which. This is not uncommon for two term presidencies.
I sure hope Norm Minetta goes

Of the 14 cabinet level positions, Clinton only retained 4 for his full 8 years in office:
Reno - AG
Babbitt - Interior

"If there are no new minority appointments, Bush will be labeled a racist by Jesseh and Sharpton."Think about that.
President Bush never appointed real blacks to his administration.
Well? ... Isn't that what those two criminals said?

LOL!!! Now that would be interesting! Lieberman in the cabinet -- must admit he was definitely not an enthusiastic Kerry supporter if he supported him at all.

"I saw Joe Lieberman on a clip from FOX yesterday and he almost seemed angling for a Cabinet appointment. IMHO"
I doubt it CT has a Republican Govenor so I doubt the Rats would risk losing another Senate seat.
