Going underground
The Washington Times ^ | 11/15/04 | Greg Pierce

Posted on 11/15/2004 6:16:47 AM PST by Pfesser

"We don't have the internals on this poll, but the significance seems pretty plain," National Review says in an editorial.

"Democratic Underground, a left-wing online forum, asked its readers, 'What is more depressing: 9/11/01 or 11/3/04?' Two hundred forty-five voted, of whom 73 percent picked the presidential election. Some Democratic Undergrounders were as disgusted by this result as normal American would be," the magazine said.

" 'I'm about to bail on this forum after reading garbage like this,' wrote one. 'I'm starting to think many of you are way out of touch.' Hold on to that thought."

Folks

Why are people still shocked to realize that most rats find an american president more dangerous than terrorists who killed 3000 + civilians in a single day?

They are mentally ill, and borderline traitors.

...and we need the Washington Times to report it, because the WaPo/NYT/CNNCBSNBCABC LSM won't.

But boy, if we took some offensive poll with a disgraceful result, it'd be all over the place.

Sick, yes. There was a great deal of discussion on this forum when the DUmmies were making that news.

It is interesting -- and the only "news" here -- that the WashTimes commented on the story.

That's the same thing I've been thinking. How many members does that place have? It never seems like many.

I'm shocked. I thought the "nice" folks over at DU were the

loyal opposition. I didn't realize that...

Hey, DUmbasses: You have three choices: Get used to it. Get over it. Or get out.

From the article: the failure was of the party to which I swear allegiance,

There, sir, lies your failure. You swore allegiance to a party and not to your COUNTRY.

And you wonder why I and millions like me who swore our lives to defend the Constitution find your party revolting.

"Democratic Undergrounders" vs. "normal Americans". Hmm... Says a lot, doesn't it?

I don't believe DU has very many members. I've been lurking around there since election night and I notice a core of people post most frequently. Incidentally, the posts there are mostly vanity pieces. Things like, "I feel depressed today. My cat won't sit on my lap. How about you?" There's a high degree of similar drivel mixed in with long-winded rants and a few articles. BTW, they're still holding onto the belief that Kerry will jump out of the bushes any day now with smoking gun evidence showing that Bush fraudulently stole the election.
