What Americans voted against on November 2nd, was the coarsening culture represented by John F*ckin' and the Democrats' alignment with Hollywood. To put Rabbi Shmuley Boteach's excellent analysis of Kerry's loss in terms we can all understand, it can be reduced to a concise bumper sticker slogan: "Its the Culture, Stupid!" Indeed.

I saw the O'Reilly Factor the other day with some woman named Jeanne Wolf--boy, was she pi$$ed and hateful. She disdainfully sneered at W's small margin of victory and said he was like a "little boy" with Arnold in OH. She claimed that Bruce Springsteen had credibility--tho' she didn't explain why, I wish O'Reilly had asked her elaborate upon that--anyone can make a claim about anything. She also argued that these jerk celebs actually made a difference in keeping the race close--implying that if it hadn't been for them, Kerry might have lost by worse! What ego!

I thought her comments very ironic--Kerry himself acted like a "little boy" onstage with all those celebs, I expected him to whip out a pen and camera and ask them for an autograph and his picture to be taken with them. He was like a star-struck groupie.

As for Eminem, for such a "tough-guy," he sure does like girlie-men like Kerry. . . hmmmmmm.

While I agree with a lot of what he says, I think Kerry lost because people in the Red states do not believe he or his party are serious about the country's defense.

The election was close enough where any of a multitude of important issues made the difference. However, between the war on terror and Iraq, those two issues were the most important in the election.

A backlash on the media's bias, hollywood's leftism, and legislating from the bench were significant and may have been decisive.

Yep... I think when the Massachusetts Supremes and San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom tried to ram gay marriage down Americans' throats, they killed Kerry's bid right then and there. Americans don't like to be told by self-appointed elites their values are outdated and its time to adopt new ones. We sent the liberal elites on the coasts a message they won't soon forget.

Rabbi Shmuley is great. I really enjoy his analysis and passion, and others might as well.

"the coarsening culture"indeed, and another example of that coarsening - I might add, is your own use of the F word to describe John Kerry's middle name...try cleaning up your own street...

The coast elitists didn't get the message.

They think everyone that doesn't buy into their leftist worldview are ignorant rednecks.

They REALLY need to read "How to Win Friends and Influence People".

Yeah... let's see now... who called a Secret Service agent a four letter word? Someone that erudite and sophisticated could have been a class act. Instead, he acted like trailer park trash. Oh and who can forget his priceless silence when Hollywood performers pranced about an auditorium uttering obscenities at our President and he and little Johnny afterwards praised them as "the heart and soul of America." At every turn, Kerry could have elevated the state of our culture. Instead, he chose to lower it. As for the moniker, it fits.

Hits the nail on the head for me. Unfortunately, most of the celebs that are most outspoken feel compelled to keep talking. They're ego driven and cannot stop.

The one "entertainer" who really irks me is Emenim. This guy makes a living acting like this big rebel. "Yo, white rapper in the house, blah blah blah." Yet, here he is lining up with all the other lemmings on the left, spouting talking points given to him from Mary Beth Cahill. How establishment can you be? Besides being a total dreg to society, I hope a lot of kids who have been poisoned by his tripe will wake up to the fact that he's a fraud. An untalented idiot fraud at that.

In reality, the No. 1 moral issue for most Americans is not gay marriage, but the foul and sleazy culture which is destroying their children's innocence.

He "gets" it.

Whenever I had doubts about voting for George Bush all I had to do is look at all the Hollywood schmucks trying to get John Kerry elected. Their antics have taken the luster off the music and movies produced by our entertainment superstars. Most of who live in that state of fantasy known as California. How can I ever take Bruce Springsteen seriously again? He's an idiot when it comes to politics. He's just the most visible

(Not that ever much liked his music anyway)

How true! Our popular culture has been destructive to young minds for years. There is a lot of money in catering to the lowest common denominator. A loot of Hollyweirdos live a dissolute (warped) moral life and like to drag others down to their level.

I admit I used a profanity to X-ray Kerry's soul. As a rule I refrain from swearing and contributing to the coarsening of the culture. I do not defend the wanton violence or appreciate the mindless sex that flows through the culture like a tidal wave, soiling everything it touches. Hollywood needs to clean up its act. Its a long way from doing it.
