Boy exploring gender needs home

The Santa Clara County Department of Family and Children's Services is searching for a foster home for a 17-year-old white boy who is actively exploring gender and sexuality issues. He has good communication skills and loves to talk and cook.

The teen is an outgoing individual. Other qualities include being very friendly and open to many different lifestyles. He is attending a special-education program at a public high school. He loves cosmetology and loves to do hair and make-up...

This teen needs a structured home that can be open to his ongoing exploration of sexual identity and gender.

I have never read such an article in any paper in Arkansas. Sounds like what we might read in the "Adopt a Pet" of the week from the pound. Never seen a "Adopt a kid" ad. I don't think such woudld be printed. Sounds to much like a slave sale ad to me.
