If they are in fact almost 2-decade veterans, that means they joined up during the Reagan Administration, and they must have been a problem right along. Too bad Wm Casey died when he did. He would have cleaned out the bad hires in the analysis section once he had started seeing signs of disloyalty and liberal treachery. So these guys really must have got a free pass during the Bush I administration, before Woolsey could clean house, and then it appears they were PROMOTED all during the Xlinton administration... Then allowed to persist and fester under the "live & let live" benign laissez-faire policy of GBW, i.e., he ignored their legal breaches as a compassionate conservative as he let their patron angel...life-long democrat George Tenet... hold-over until August '04. Tenet MUST have been the one defending these cretins.
I believe that George Tenet was almost the death of GBW's presidency. If any body thinks he really was so loyal to GBW, explain all these traitors he did nothing about running around right under his nose.
I guess I am waiting for a defender of the "loyal Tenet" persuasion to explain how it was that he never warned the new administration, GWB, Condi Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, etc... about Al-Queada's Operation Bojinka (where they planned to use hijacked passenger jets as weapons to attack buildings in the U.S. back in '95! )
I never bought the line that he was "loyal" to GWB. His loyalty was to the Xlintons.
