do we commend all these young people,
and some not so young,
serving their country
and trying hard
to liberate those
who have had so many years of oppression.
Keep them safe, O Lord,
may your precious blood cover them
as they go about their duties,
and keep them safe
from those who wait in stealth,
from the suicider,
from the booby trap,
and all the other dangers that surround them.
