The dorks on the left, the so called unbiased "media elite", are certainly fun to watch. They whine a lot, with constant vitriol and double standards.

Anti-Constitutionalists are done, so get used to it, Liberals.

The Party of the Ass should be born again with Dizzy Dean. He's an avid Socialist, also.

Kerry's Senate fraud and bad Navy discharge should bar him forever.

Bloggers are watching liberals.

Dizzy Dean, himself being an avid socialist, is a perfect fit.

But not so socialist that he won't take his famous drubbing and turn it into a very Capitalistic broadcast commercial. The hypocrisy of the Left is astounding.

Allow me to use this thread as an opportunity to gently remind any liberals out there to be sure to reset their "Bush Countdown Clocks" that are all over the web like this one here.

In this season of giving, allow me to do the math for these poor, grieving liberals.

As of 1:40PM EST on November 13, 2004, Bush has exactly 1528.43 days left in office. Please take this opportunity to adjust your Bush Countdown Clocks accordingly.

Thank you and good day!

What makes Kerry think he has a (realistic) shot at getting the nomination next time? The only reason why he got the nod this time around was because he was seen as "electable," with a "war hero" record. By default, in other words. It was also seen, like Bob Dole, as being his "turn."

There were a lot of dems who bowed out of consideration this year. They won't do that in 2008. By then, Kerry will be lucky to get the VP nod.

What's with the 67 days left? Are they still holding out hope that they can "find" enough votes to flip OH?

It is funny how many of them are having a mental meltdown. Like they didn't have a clue how out of touch with 'us' they were.

We were perfectly away of the social, political and spiritual chasm that divided us. We could deal with it, as we had been for decades.

However, now you see all these folks acting like they have been slapped with a dead fish. I am gobsmacked daily at just how CLUELESS these people have been!

I agree. My guess is that by 2008 Kerry will be even less relevant than Algore was in 2004. He lost a lot worse, and he has even less going for him. Algore, before his postelection meltdown, was at least relatively inoffensive.

If kerry decides to be a high-profile obstructionist, he will go down in flames and take whatever's left of his wretched mess of a party with him. 2006 will see 60+ republicans in the Senate, easily. The people are in no mood for more D'asshole games.

Change your Dubya Countdown Clock. W won and has 4 additional years left to torment the left. Please, continue to "misunderestimate" him.

Thank You

Don't get me wrong. I'm a proud Red stater and would like nothing better than to see liberalism wiped off the face of the earth. But the fact is that American political history is marked by swings from right to left and and I fully expect that while we will enjoy the fruits of this victory for a while, the pendulum will eventually swing back the other way.

The fact is that the rabidly commited on either side of the spectrum represent a fairly small segment of their respective ideologies. The great and overwhelming majority of Americans politically sit in a large middle sector, while leaning slightly left or slightly right, or even crossing back and forth on specific issues.

So invariably what happens is when the extremists on one side or the other become too dominant, the great center mass starts leaning the other way. The victors interpret the results as a "vanquishing" of the other side and the rabid members start to overreach, causing the center mass to react in the opposite direction. In fact, we had already begun to see some reversal of the Republican's stunning 1994 Congressional gains. My own belief is that without terrorism and national security as extraordinary defining issues, this errosion would have continued.

Don't forget that alot of the people that cited "moral issues" as important in this election may well have had the liberal socialist view of "morals" in mind when they answered the question (e.g. anti-war, welfare state, regressive taxation, etc).

It may not be the next election or the next 5 elections, but the stronger and more pervasie the conservative agenda becomes, the more likly that there will be liberal backlash that will act to pull the electoral mass back toward the center. Then the cycle will start all over again.

By then (2008), Kerry will be lucky to get the VP nod.

The election is not even two weeks over, and already the Dems view Kerry as yesterday's news. Quite a contrast from four years ago, when, even after FINALLY conceding, Gore was a virtual diety to the nutcases on the left.

Oh, there was a brief flurry of excitement (excuse the sarcasm) when the trial balloon went up on his becoming Minority Leader of the Senate, but that faded pretty quickly. He's done.

This piece seems a little overblown, in the sense that I doubt that liberals are going to go away. But their days of being able to control the content of "the news" are over, and that is going to be a big change for them.

Ten years ago, CBS would have gotten away with their 'bogus memo' story. That, and the New York Times' equally bogus "missing explosives" story would have been the final nails in Bush's coffin. Another Democrat would have been elected thanks to the Media Wing of the Democratic Party.

This year the magic didn't work. And it will never work again. Liberals are going to have to figure out how to sell their candidates and their programs without being able to rely on a sycophantic media to stay quiet concerning the bad news about their guy.

The press hasn't even taken all its lumps yet. When the truth finally comes out about John Kerry's exit from the Navy — and it will — and the public finds out that Kerry's medals were stripped away from him and he was not discharged honorably, people are going to rightly wonder where the hell the press was while such a man campaigned for the Presidency.

The answer will be obvious to all: the press was in the tank for Kerry. Which means the press cannot be trusted to report on politics.

Liberals lost their best weapon during this campaign, and it won't be back.

Dittos!

Here in Texas, we went from a 17-15 'RAT advantage to a 21-11 GOP advantage!

Thank you for Texas redistricting, folks!

Texas Democrats are quickly becoming an endangered species.

The Texas Dodocrat:

Remap could create an endangered species -
Texas' white Democratic Reps struggle for survival

Texas Redistricting starts a National Trend !:
