Sunday night prayer bump...
...Please don't forget to update us when you get some information!!
God please help this young hero to full and complete recovery.
Prayers sent. God be with all of you.
Don't know the words.....but God's speed.....
Prayers sent for Jordan, one of America's best. May our Lord also comfort the family in these anxious times.
I hope his injuries are not life threatening, and that he recovers quickly. So many of our brave military men, when wounded, say how all they want is to get better and get back out with their fellow soldiers to fight again. Amazing and it is so inspiring, that kind of attitude.
Prayers up!
I shall write his name down on both prayer lists of my parishes that I attend and begin to pray the Divine Mercy Rosary for him as well.
Jordan,
Only God knows what you are doing and what your circumstance is. And I pray that you can feel his healing hand and comforting hand on your life. May you never forget God and may he always be a pillar of fire for you during the night and a pillar of cloud by day. May these times which are troublesome be a source of peace and comfort with you. May you always be able to sense and feel and hear God in your life. May others be raised up to encourage you. May you know that there are others praying for you and your situation and that you are not alone. And May the peace of our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ be with you always. And may the Mother of all comfort you as well. Amen.
Prayers for Jordan's swift healing. God be with him and all our other military.
prayers offered up!
Book of Common Prayer (1928)
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
And also praying Psalm 23:
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: For thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.
