When I first saw this story on the MSM ticker, I thought (open-mindedly...take that DU troll open-mindedly!) that the resignee might be shedding new light on the on-going techniques utilized to hunt an capture OBL, but alas, he is simply trying to hock some books.

Get in line with Mr Artest. You know, the line for employees burdened with the inability to sell stuff due to work obligations.

He wrote an obnoxious Bush-bashing tract that was seeped in anti-Semitism. Apparently he thinks that if we let the Arabs push all the "Jooooooos" into the sea, then Osama will be nice to us.

"They rejected every single request," she said. "It was effectively a ban."

If this guy can't keep a secret, he has no business working for the CIA.

He intends to speak to the media over the next several weeks, including an appearance on the CBS show "60 Minutes" on Sunday.

This scumbag can sing like a canary all he wants.
Too late. We WON the election.

And he's doing 60 Minutes on Sunday.

A little late for an "OCTOBER SURPRISE"... President Bush was re-elected and cBS is so discredited now, that a stinking loser, who is a supposed OBL "exert",but did less than nothing to prevent 9/11,will only enrage those morons who loved Clinton and voted for Kerry.

Scheuer was chief of the CIA Counterterrorist Center's unit which focused on bin Laden from 1996 to 1999

Hmm... Damning himself I'd say... Not exactly something to brag about.

A whole lot of focusing going on 'round here. Yep, we're focusing, focusing, focusing...

Great progress! First, McLaughlin and now this guy. Porter Goss is kicking butt and may actually make the CIA into an effective spy agency. Let's get rid of all these leakers, backbiters, and snide "experts" and get some people with cajones in there.

Can't the CIA shut him up? Can't they just classify everything he knows?

"Scheuer was chief of the CIA Counterterrorist Center's unit which focused on bin Laden from 1996 to 1999 and remained a CIA analyst after that."

In other words, after four years of incompetence, even the clintonoids couldn't stand him and he was demoted to a position where he couldn't do as much damage.
