Website Nuclear Bomb Claim, Attributed to Al-Qaeda

Dubai, 12 Nov. (AKI) - The ability to produce and enrich uranium to make nuclear bombs is no longer the prerogative of the world's "tyrannical crusaders", a statement signed by the the al-Qaeda terror network and published on a new Islamic 'Jihad Lion's Den Forum' website claimed this week. "Our attempts to make small nuclear bombs with great potential for destruction have succeeded", said the statement, which its authors said was targeted at the American people. "Al-Qaeda will respond harshly to your refusal to heed sheikh Osama bin Laden's warning not to re-elect the foolish Bush in the presidential elections. We tell you that this refusal will bring Allah's divine wrath upon you. He will make you the the prime target of an attack that will strike at the heart of America", the statement continued.

"Our attempts to make small nuclear bombs with great potential for destruction have succeeded",

Everybody who knows ANYTHING about nuclear weapons knows that "attempts to make...nuclear bombs..." aren't "successful" until you test them...

I think we would know if a nuclear bomb had gone off somewhere... even a 'small' one.

Well I for one am taking this threat seriously. There is way too much material out there unaccounted for. We all must remain vigilant. This is going to be a long war and we are by no means in the clear yet.

Now that the Islamofascists are starting to babble about nuclear-this and nuclear-that, it is time for President Bush (or more appropriately, Don Rumsfeld, since he drives the liberals & leftists insane) to make a public statement in no uncertain terms that IF any Islamic terrorist group detonates ANY nuclear device upon U.S. soil or U.S. interests anywhere in the world, be it a dirty bomb, or actual nuclear warhead, that it will be the policy of the United States to respond with a nuclear strike on each and every one of the holy sites of Islam, no matter where they are in the world, starting with Mecca.

The Saudis and all Arabs will shriek murder most foul, but since Muslims revere their 'holy cities' more than life, we must make them understand that we have the ability, and we definitely have the will, to incinerate those cities from the face of the Earth, just like Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

America must instill fear in the Islamic terrorists that are roaming the planet, over and above the fear they are experiencing now, knowing that the U.S. is at war with them, is tracking their miserable asses down, and dispatching them straight to Hell as soon as we line 'em up in the cross-hairs.

If Muslims truly consider their religion to be a 'religion of peace', they can demonstrate their good intentions by turning over the terrorist scumbags that have hijacked their religion, turn them over to the U.S., and who knows - they might even be rewarded for their efforts.

And if al Qaeda and their murderous affiliates don't want to heed our warning?

Oh well, perhaps they can rebuild Mecca in about 50 years after the background radiation dies down, assuming that Jesus doesn't come back first (and I most fervently believe He most certainly WILL).

Either way, Islamofascism loses, as Dick Cheney might say, 'BIG TIME'.

If they make good on this threat it'll be open season on Muslims for the remainder of this century.

Sounds like they are desperate to intimidate. I say in response we've gotten approval from God to draw and quarter all Al-Queda we apprehend, after gently questioning them.

Wanna bet their target is in a blue state? After all, according to the Demwits, there is nothing in the red state 'wasteland' worth bombing.

Every silver lining has a dark cloud. Get ready for the other shoe to drop. It took 800 years for Andalusia to regain the name of Spain due to the fractionated self interest of the petty nobility.

We are in for a long, drawn out confrontation since the left is only temporarily back on its heels. If Hilary gets any traction it will take decades to undo the misery she will unleash with her socialist one-world anti-Christian policies.

It's attractive, but in reality, these animals are hiding behind Islam. They don't care any more about Medina or Mecca than they do about the lives of their co-religionists.

One good start, though, would be to start "decapitating the snake". Every imam or mullah who mouths off advocating mass murder is found with two in the head, in a ditch-Every time. It would be a good start, though a late one.

CIA: Osama Bin Laden has Religious Approval to Nuke the United States
Source: CIA | Drudge Report | 12:30:07 PM EST

Osama bin Laden now has religious approval to use a nuclear device against Americans, says the former head of the CIA unit charged with tracking down the Saudi terrorist. The former agent, Michael Scheuer, speaks to Steve Kroft in his first television interview without disguise to be broadcast on 60 MINUTES Sunday, Nov. 14 (7:00-8:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Scheuer was until recently known as the "anonymous" author of two books critical of the West's response to bin Laden and al Qaeda, the most recent of which is titled Imperial Hubris: Why the West is Losing the War on Terror. No one in the West knows more about the Qaeda leader than Scheuer, who has tracked him since the mid-1980s. The CIA allowed him to write the books provided he remain anonymous, but now is allowing him to reveal himself for the first time on Sunday's broadcast; he formally leaves the Agency today (12).

Even if bin Laden had a nuclear weapon, he probably wouldn't have used it for a lack of proper religious authority - authority he has now. "[Bin Laden] secured from a Saudi sheik...a rather long treatise on the possibility of using nuclear weapons against the Americans," says Scheuer. "[The treatise] found that he was perfectly within his rights to use them. Muslims argue that the United States is responsible for millions of dead Muslims around the world, so reciprocity would mean you could kill millions of Americans," Scheuer tells Kroft.

Scheuer says bin Laden was criticized by some Muslims for the 9/11 attack because he killed so many people without enough warning and before offering to help convert them to Islam. But now bin Laden has addressed the American people and given fair warning. "They're intention is to end the war as soon as they can and to ratchet up the pain for the Americans until we get out of their region....If they acquire the weapon, they will use it, whether it's chemical, biological or some sort of nuclear weapon," says Scheuer.

As the head of the CIA unit charged with tracking bin Laden from 1996 to 1999, Scheuer says he never had enough people to do the job right. He blames former CIA Director George Tenet. "One of the questions that should have been asked of Mr. Tenet was why were there always enough people for the public relations office, for the academic outreach office, for the diversity and multi-cultural office? All those things are admirable and necessary but none of them are protecting the American people from a foreign threat," says Scheuer.

And the threat posed by bin Laden is also underestimated, says Scheuer. "I think our leaders over the last decade have done the American people a disservice...continuing to characterize Osama bin Laden as a thug, as a gangster," he says. "Until we respect him, sir, we are going to die in numbers that are probably unnecessary, yes. He's a very, very talented man and a very worthy opponent," he tells Kroft.

Until today (12), Scheuer was a senior official in the CIA's counter terrorism unit and a special advisor to the head of the agency's bin Laden unit.

Developing...

That's fine...our success at making large nuclear bombs is proven, although I doubt we'll need them to rearrange most of the sand within 1500 miles of your stinky camel's behind.

Fear. It is oozing from their pores. They know Bush has a mandate, and that American left no longer has the effect on public opinion to the extent it did in the 60's and 70's.

Falluja. That's got to be scaring the terrorists. The model Bin Laden and his ilk used is largely the one used by the pals against the Israelis (low grade terror attacks against a superior military force). The biggest screw up on the part of the terrorists is that the EU holds the Israelis in check. America does not have this problem. The only thing that can prevent us from wiping these idiots out is our own left. Now that it is evident to the terrorists that conservatives are in the driver seat, they are understandably quite worried.

...And they should be. We won't stop. Their only hope is hoping we will be frightned by their tactics, and stop attacking them. We won't.
