From earlier posting today "But residents said the U.S-led offensive opened strains between the local insurgents and the foreigners. When a senior Zarqawi commander was found dead of a bullet to the head during the battle, many interpreted his death as the result of an insurgent execution."
"Besides the commander's death, the bodies of 20 foreign fighters also were found shot to death execution-style, military officials said."

Appears Iraqi insurgents are turning on their foreign Islamic guest. May they destroy each other to the last terrorist.

"We didn't want the occupation and we didn't want the terrorists, and now we have both," said a Fallujah construction worker who gave his name as only Abu Ehab, 30. "I didn't think the Arabs would be so vicious, and I never thought the Americans would be so unmerciful." DUH?

Now that they can do so without risk of beheading.

"How foreign jihadists came to make Fallujah their base is a cautionary tale for other Iraqi cities that might receive fighters in search of a new place to plot bombings and beheadings."
Good point. I'm sure that Mosul, next on the Marines radar apparently is taking notice.

Wow. This truth-telling article appears in the Knight Ridder Press. And according to a bio I found, Hannah Allam came to Knight Ridder from the St. Paul Pioneer Press of all places.

Lucky for you we'll be leaving after we've freed and protected your sorry a--. You would never have had that option with the Islamofascists you harbored had we never stepped into the situation.
My prediction: Within 20 years, Iraq will treat the U.S. the way France currently does.

A rebel-allied cleric who goes by the name Sheik Rafaa told Knight Ridder that Iraqi rebels were so infuriated by the disappearance of their foreign allies that one cell had "executed 20 Arab fighters because they left an area they promised to defend." Now we have an idea who killed the 20..

Executed foreign terrorists?
Sounds good to me.
Let me play the devils advocate for a second.
Is it possible that some of these foreign terrorists were sick of getting the hell beat out of them and some said "Hey, let's get the %#$! out of here before we die!"
Other fellow terrorists held them hostage and executed them as traitors to Allah and the cause.
Is this plausible? Opinions anyone?
To: WmShirerAdmirer
I never thought the Americans would be so unmerciful.... and the historic example will be Falluja. Read it. Learn it. Know it. Live it you dirty terrorist scum.
