When I was working the Republican HQ prior to the election 3 "special" Bush supporters came in to get signs. One of the guys told me he was told that "because he was a registered Dem he couldn't vote for Bush". I told him he could vote for anybody he wanted to vote for no matter what his registration. This made him very happy.

This is the kind of stuff that kept Dick Gephardt in office for so many years.

there definitely needs to be an "knowledge" test before anyone is allowed to vote.
The same when it comes to property taxes where ONLY property owners can vote!
It is time to take America back from the dictatorial lawyer/politicians

There's nothing in the election laws of the states, to my knowledge, that calls for an IQ test for voters.

How come those 50 are so special? 55,949,407 other mentally retarded voters went to the polls, too... Buahahahahaha! I originally thought the headline said 50 Million...

The functioning level of those who voted is high enough that they can grasp the concepts and the facts were presented in a way they could handle," said residential coordinator Joe Washkalavitch. "They all knew what to do once they reached the polling place." As long as they understood the process and what they were doing .. I don't see a problem
