This thread honors the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces, and reminds us of why we here at home can go about our daily business in peace. Street-to-street is the toughest type of warfare. Air cover is being flown by pilots from the USS John F. Kennedy, as well as the U.S. Air Force from bases in the area.
It's times like this that I wish I was still there.
Personally, I'm with those who say let's just level the place. But since we can't do that, then shredding it like this works for me.

Soldiers with the U.S. Army's 7th Corps huddle in a bunker in Eastern Saudi Arabia with gas masks and chemical suits just after U.S. planes started bombing Iraq (news - web sites), in this Jan. 18, 1991file photo. Parting company with the findings of a Clinton administration panel on Gulf War (news - web sites) illnesses, a new study concludes more must be learned about the effects of toxic substances on those who fought there. I heard on the radio this morning that Navy corpsmen are serving with the Marines on the ground in Fallujah. All the services are doing their part in this war.
Good photos, Grzegorz, thanks for posting them here.
In a decisive way. Moral values? The war against terrorism is the ultimate battle between good and evil.
Typical liberal argument about "stopping the clock", or worse yet, "turning it back".
This is a wonderful thread with awesome photos. Don't use it as a springboard for feminazi propaganda.
Take your feminist bullsh!t somewhere else.
68-69TonkinGulfYachtClub, I understand you're in charge of the FR canteen. Am pinging you to this thread because I posted it to honor our Armed Forces fighting in Fallujah as we speak. Perhaps you'll be interested in pinging your list.
Amen........
I'm with you. A thread like this is only a small thing, but if it let's even one soldier, Marine, airman, or sailor know how much this American honors them, then it's done its job. If you do get back to Iraq, please bring my love, good wishes and prayers with you.
Well put and very true.
The squids and zoomies are doing a satisfactory job flying CAP while those Marine Hornet and Harrier pilots are dropping JDAMs, LGBs, Mavericks, etc. and Marine Prowler crews are keeping tabs via TERPES on the ragheads.
Navy Corpsmen have always served with the marines. The marines have no corpsmen (medics) of their own
Do you have any idea why the middle east is the way it is?
Pull your knuckles off the floor and find out.
I didn't like the way he said..is that a woman?
Women have been fighting beside the men through out all conflicts.
How dare you say that to me. When push comes to shove women can kick-a$$ as good as the next person. You have besmirched all women in the military by that assanine comment.
Don't forget, women voted for Bush over Kerry and you call me personal names.

pic 38 says it all. Won't post it here, pretty graphic.
He looks Asian or Hispanic. An 18 yo Marine of Philipino extraction will not have much facial hair.
I find something very interesting about the pictures of armored vehicles in Falluja. I have yet to see a single picture of the Stryker.
Thanks, I didn't know the Marines have no medics of their own. Still, I'm trying to mention every one of the services on this thread, because they are all doing their part in Iraq. Coasties are helping patrol the ports. The National Guard is indispensible. We should honor them all.
Good job! You can bet Tonk will get those pics pinged! He does an amazing job at the canteen!
