I can not imagine what Scott's parents must feel. They know their son is a murderer. So they are mourning their son's guilt and the loss of Laci and Connor. Scott's parents loved Laci, it was apparent from photos from when she first disappeared. They lost her and their grandchild. As much as they wanted to believe that their son was not the monster that did this, they have to face that now. I feel for them. I am glad that Laci and Connor got their justice. They can truly rest in peace now. I hope Laci's parents can find some comfort.

Scott's parents paid for the defense knowing he was a pathological liar, knowing he may well have murdered his wife and their grandchild. The jury verdict won't make them believe he is a murderer. They refuse to believe it they are in denial. The only pain they are suffering from is the delusion that thier poor boy was wrongly convicted. They are enablers.
