With all due respect, you did not sit in the jury box and hear evidence day after day so to make a declaration that the prosecution failed to prove their case is not one you can make with any authority.

I am not all that interested in the case but am wondering about procedures. I presume alternate jurors sit in the audience and are also sequestered. Were they present during the original deliberations? Just curious. I was excused from a jury one and didn't get to sit on the case.
