How does a fertilizer salesman afford Mark Geragos? Probably Geragos did it for the limelight but got Peterson to assign book and movie rights. Peterson, if he's smart, is paying Geragos like a contractor---paid when the job's done, not paid for just putting in time.

Nope. It's just even. I know - it's a value judgement thing.

"I'm betting guilty. The jury deadlocked because of the two wack jurors. Once they were removed, the jury decided quickly. It's gotta be 'guilty'."

I'm with you on this.

I spend a lot of time on a 40' motorboat in the California Delta and I've helped single guys in my Marina unload a 90 pound Sturgeon from a boat like Petersons. These guys land the 90 pounder by themselves while anchored. He would have no problem loading a 100 pound woman.

Guilty as charged.

I certainly understand and you did the right thing. I was on a jury once who had to decide on whether or not a woman's ex-boyfriend had broken into her house. We all thought it was possible but that the prosecutor had not proven his case, so we decided not guilty. But one woman on the jury wanted to hold out for a guilty conviction because she said that men had been getting away with this sort of thing forever and it was time to start finding them guilty. Had she persisted, it would have been a hung jury. She should not have been on that jury.

Yep, which is why Geragos is in L.A. He's already planning on the movie and the book how he got this guy off.

Isn't it a cousin of Brent Rocha that belongs to a motorcycle group, wonder if they are there! Maybe a motorcycle "accident"!

Yeah, to be second degree guilty, you've gotta believe one of two things:
(1) It was a passion crime involving a fight in the house (or some such nonsense);
(2) You hate the death penalty.

IMHO, there wasn't time for the jury to have the argument about #2. Guilty, Murder 1.

As much as I'd like to personally hit the plunger on some of these guys, that's not fair, do you agree?

I've stopped guessing what juries do, but Court TV has better coverage.

My son has an antique 14ft wooden Chris Craft, it is very solid, have never had a problem getting in & out & 3 kids on it moving all around, plus coolers & gas tanks. I think it's quite possible to do.

Coming in second: OJ's Columbian drug dealers.
