I think it bodes for "guilty." Finding him not guilty would have taken more time, I think.

Funny, I'd call it the opposite way. I think voting a person guilty is a pretty darned hard decision, requiring more time and thought. But we'll soon see.

White guys don't acquit white guys just because they're white.

Ever heard of "Mississippi Burning"

Oh, Justin the big authority. I'm hearing him now. He's said NOT GUILTY since day one, the POS!

I'm so glad he's off the jury.

Guilty or not guilty, one thing is for sure.

Either Scott's or Laci's family is going to be going through hell this evening.

Unfortunately, he will be found not guilty. Amazing, but seems that is the way it is going. The new Jury forman was a defense guy. Friends with the Justin who definitely wasn't ever going to convicet. Ever.

This judge has been a terrible judge. Remember when Justin said something to the effect you are going to have you ... handed to you today. The judge kept him on despite those commments. Only removed him when Fox News and the people pounded on it.

I'm no expert, but I think it would take more time to finally recognize that they were at an impass.

The new juror sat on two prior juries, curious to know what the verdicts were in those two cases

According to Court TV yesterday, one trial was criminal and the defendent was acquited. The other was a civil case that was settled.

Was it before they got to deliberating, or are you talking about midway throught the trial phase?

He'd have some insight in either case into the minds of the jurors, but more sense of where they were leaning if he were kicked off in mid-deliberation.

Just heard one of the jurors asked and got a sitting with her priest to discuss the moral nature of death penalty. Therefore I conclude, with certainty, that Mr. Peterson will be looking down the barrel of 1000 milligrams of Potassium chloride. This Bud is for You Scott.

With each passing year, I become more convinced and frustrated that our court system does not do justice.

Scott is not going to like his new home. Rita Cosby did a show on where he is going if he is found guilty. He is going to get his butt kicked daily. No radio, no television, no computers, a 6 x 8 room to himself and only gets to go out in the "yard" for about two hours a day where he will need to get someone to PROTECT him to keep him from getting killed. They don't like baby killers. If they don't get him in the "yard" they will get him in the shower...lol!

I agree; I think the MD/Lawyer was the problem with the jury; wanted to read every page of his 19 notebooks.

To me, a verdict this quick can't mean not guilty.

Oh, Justin the big authority.

What is UP with him?? He got kicked off the jury and he's become this big authority and somewhat of a celebrity. Only in California.

We're talking about California (not Mississippi) and, more significantly, 2004 (not 1964).
