Clearly, those of us in the thinking part of the country are at odds with the red(neck) states. Why not formalise the irreconcilable differences between us by having a go at sovereignty? That way, we can rejoin the civilised world, and you can create your Taliban-style theocracy that you so obviously desire.
A key to your point is that the troll said the states don't have their own internal Electoral College, giving the strong implication that they'd take the red counties with them by force if necessary. There might be a rude surprise when the state legislature doesn't go along with the scheme. No wonder the libs fight so hard against the 2nd Amendment.

I first noticed that the Moderator changed the author of the thread to "Kit N. Chau"...
Then it changed to "Nigel".
Then it changed to "An 100% American bloke, likely named Nigel." (Or something like that)...
It was funny stuff.
They did it once before; now they want to do it again.... except that this chucklehead wants US to secede and form our own country, as if he/she/it's not the one who lost big last Tuesday.

If you really want to know what a "blue" country would look like, look to Massachusetts. There is a run-away legislature that refuses to enact what the people vote for, the economy is lagging (MA was the only state in the country to lose jobs in the 1st quarter of the year), the unions hold mafia-like control over most of the state (that Big Dig was great, wasn't it) and one of the biggest problems is the hemmorage of 21-35 year olds from the state. The people that are needed to build the economy are leaving in droves. This was actually a campaign issue in the last governor's race because it's affecting the economy.
