As someone who is stuck in a blue state, I can easily state that Kerry voters don't "think", rather they "feel".

When asked why they voted for Kerry, my coworkers consistently stated that they hated Bush. When pressed to answer what they think Kerry would do as President, they consistently said (1) "I don't know", (2) then some sort of attempt at humor such as "He wouldn't be Bush".

There is a real like of thinking here in the blue states.
