Imus is really dissing the crowd at Ramallah and Yassar Arafat in general. Andrea Mitchell keeps checking in and is looking distinctly uncomfortable. ROFL
He really is doing a number..called Suha a "fat pig of a wife" etc. It's the best coverage on TV!
It's a mob scene, total chaos....and certainly not unexpected.
Nah. I used to watch Fox News but gave it up when they refused to stop flashing Britney Spears boobs in my face first thing in the morning. Now I watch Imus.
He is. But when he's on the money, nobody can top him.
Earlier, Imus was wondering out loud why NBC had put their franchise, Brian Williams, and Andrea Mitchell over there. He figured it was a job for someone like David Gregory. Bernard said that maybe Greenspan sent Andrea for the funeral.

There are conservatives who think we shouldn't be rejoicing at the death of Arafat... That we should be reserved and all that.
I think they're whacked for thinking that. One said that just because he is hated and reviled doesn't mean that we should celebrate his death. She finished by mentioning that Bush is hated and reviled.
I got pissed at that point. Nobody compares Bush to Arafat on my watch. There's a world of difference between a man who has sworn to bring peace to the world, even at the edge of a sword, and a man who used the sword to obstruct peace, to kill tens of thousands an many, many more. The is no moral equivalence between Bush being hated and Arafat being hated. The former being undeserved bad press, and the latter being well deserved for being a murderer and terror sponsor.
I'm so tired of the moral equivocation that they teach in schools these days!!! Where do they find the guts to teach kids that tripe?
Imus is back after the top of the hour break. It's going to get good. You better not watch. :)
